Feed the Hungry (Mid Day Meal Scheme for School Children)

This is obvious that every year our Children die from hunger. Our BBCM is occasionally implementing breakfast program to fill stomachs for better learning, for 200 boys and girls of lower economic means. At present we don’t have promised funds, we raise funds for this purpose from different sources and extend them to this noble cause.

People from our village never know where their next meal is coming from, if they have a job. With this money, they have to feed up to 12 people. IMPOSSIBLE! This is why we felt that we had to do our part in helping these suffering people. In this program food stuff is distributed to deserving children, doing this we try to tell that Jesus loves them and He wants them to have food to eat.

Most children at Our Christ School come from underprivileged backgrounds and cannot afford to have breakfast before coming to school. This is an unhealthy practice and hampers their abilities to concentrate in class, resulting in slow progress.

To counter this problem and prepare the children to be energetic and active,
we want to start the FEED THE HUNGRY KITCHEN for our school children on regular basis, because never is a child turned away if he is hungry.

Please support our Christ school to fulfill our vision to bring love and security to some of abandoned children to make their face smile again.

Transport

Essa Nagar- Our Central Place It is newly established Christian town of almost 150 families present. This area has been selected for missionary and Evangelistic purpose because this town has been surrounded by non Christian villages and towns where there is a good percentage of Christian as well, therefore this area will serve as a central place. As many children live in the villages that surround the school in Essa Nagar, we want to purchase and maintain vehicles to provide transport, otherwise only a few children could be able to attend. We want to bring more children into school from nearby villages so transport is very crucial issue of the day.

This is an area that has greatly expensive to run vehicle. The fact that all the children have to be picked is still a major logistical problem for the school each day. A much larger vehicle would greatly help matters and a ‘Coaster’ bus has been suggested. Hopefully this problem will soon be resolved as it is a major barrier to the growth of the school.
